A Level 2 Home Condition Survey provides a more detailed assessment for older, altered or more complicated properties. It examines accessible elements of the building and reports on visible defects, condition, maintenance requirements and matters that may require specialist investigation.
If significant dampness is identified during a Level 2 inspection, an enhanced damp investigation may be available during the same visit, subject to the client’s approval. This can reduce delay during the purchasing process and provide more useful information than simply recommending further investigation at a later date.
